I'm Yiwei, you can call me Kelly if it’s easier. I just graduated from UC San Diego with STATS major and CS minor.

When Sherlock first met John, he could deduce John’s veteran identity by simply observing his posture. Detectives can always get more hidden information since they are not just looking, they are observing. I expect to make rational reasoning and then optimal decisions like them in my daily work.

My strength is I am a self-motivated person. I am so into machine learning and data analysis, I enrolled Machine Learning class on campus and Coursera given by Stanford Professor Andrew Ng and even became the selected reader for his drift version of "Machine Learning Yearning”. However, I am not satisfied with just reading. I prefer to analysis data in the real industry and lab under responsible and trustful mentors, I pursue a meaningful and changeable hand-on project instead of just learning the theory from class or by myself. I am punctual in time. I do my work in given time. I never miss an assignment deadline and never be late for an exam. I am also a self-taught person. I learned HTML and JavaScript by myself, thus got a surprised frontend summer internship in LA. My weakness is less talkative since I believe the result would tell by itself.

My long-term goal is to become a responsible, trustful and knowledgeable senior data analyst, who help others make decisions from big data.
